Dr. Nicole Sawyer
Dr. Nicole Sawyer has been with SUPAMAC for two and a half years. As Director of SUPAMAC’s R&D she ensures that SUPAMAC keeps up with the latest developments in DNA research technology applications and maintains its efficient processing and customer servivce performance.

Prof. Ron Trent
Ron Trent is Professor of Molecular Genetics at the University of Sydney, and Head of the Department of Molecular & Clinical Genetics at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. Ron’s association with SUPAMAC was initially as the Chair of the Board of Management and more recently, with the move of SUPAMAC to the University of Sydney’s College of Health Sciences, Ron has assumed the position of Executive Director of SUPAMAC.
With an involvement in molecular genetics that extends over twenty years from his time in the MRC Molecular Haematology Unit at Oxford, Ron is aware of the critical role played by state-of-art DNA genetic analysis services to researchers in genomics as well as at the undergraduate, junior and senior post-doctoral levels. This educative role is the key to SUPAMAC’s capability to provide a comprehensive DNA analysis service.

Dr.Bing Yu
Bing is on hand to provide SUPAMAC with extra experience and advice to enable production of the highest quality results.
Dr Bing Yu is a Molecular Geneticist in the Department of Molecular & Clinical Genetics at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and is also a Senior Lecturer in the Central Clinical School, the University of Sydney. He is an Honorary Consultant for SUPAMAC and is keen to improve DNA diagnosis with new state-of-art technologies. Bing has been in charge of setting up the dHPLC service for mutation screening which is a recent service provided by SUPAMAC. He has also been involved in the development of robotics for SUPAMAC.

Mr. Vladimir Simonovic
Vladimir Simonovic joined SUPAMAC in March 2006 as SUPAMAC’s Research Officer and Quality Manager. He has brought his considerable experience from his research days at University of Sydney’s Biological Sciences Department to help SUPAMAC maintain its quality control mechanisms and procedures.


Mr. Evan Dodds
Evan Dodds began work at SUPAMAC in February 2005. He is responsible for day to day running of the facility and implementation of the latest customer service interface software.

Ms. Loletta Yuen
Loletta is SUPAMAC’s Administrative Officer, responsible for invoicing, ordering, arranging service contracts and budget updates.
