SUPAMAC is a central resource laboratory, providing high throughput DNA analysis. SUPAMAC has a predominant research focus, although services are also available to diagnostic laboratories. A disclaimer is provided on the SUPAMAC web site and also in result e-mails stating that the tests performed by SUPAMAC are not validated for diagnostic purposes.
Our aim within SUPAMAC is to ensure that we have absolute quality control across all areas of our operations. We aim to assure customers and regulatory authorities that our laboratory is working to an excellent quality system and that we are committed to maintaining a quality of sequence output.

All customers have a right to expect that information given to SUPAMAC staff will be kept confidential. The processes of ordering, performing and reporting on DNA analysis does not lead to information about names and eventual diagnoses. However, SUPAMAC staff treat such information as confidential and available only to the researcher who ordered the analysis.
In the event of irregularities being detected within our systems, it is our priority to keep our clients informed and to rectify the situation within the shortest possible time. Quality and courtesy are seen as our pathway to success.
